nice toddler tent bed : DISNEY PIXAR CARS TENT TODDLER BED
We just got this, and put it together, so I figured I'd review it. It wasn't difficult to put together, however, my canopy is Not As Shown. In this picture, you can clearly see the ties used to hold the "door" up and out of the way. On mine, there's two small squares of velcro, and the only piece of matching velcro that is feasible to hold it up is probaby 8 inches down, so it's not a nice tight roll. Even the instructions said to put something on the legs of the footboard/headboard, and we couldn't find those pieces anywhere, so we came to the closing that the directions were printed before they changed the design. Needless to say, it's put together, the loose floppy door is driving me nuts, but it seems sturdy, and, well, it's a bed. My son and our cat both hopped in there while I was trying to tuck the bedding we got to match in(no way will that ever fit in there nice and neat whether lol) and my son(will be 2 in 2 months) laid down and told me night night and has been playing in it ever since. So it's a hit ;)
Update#1- Not ten minutes after I wrote the origianl review, I heard a thump and a wail from his bedroom. Upon invesigation, I discovered that he had tried to climb over the footboard and rolled when he was halfway over it, which ripped the ties(they're not long sufficient to go nearby Any red part of the footboard, just barely sufficient to tie nearby the metal leg) right off, the plastic C ring popped off and the tension sprang it back into his midsection, which angry him. Had to take the tent off before we even had it a week. Don't pay extra for the tent, like we did- definitely not worth it. Get the 40 dollar regular bed instead. Also, if your child loves to play in tents, it makes the bed a play place, not a sleep place.
